About Me

My background

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Associate in the state of Texas. I am currently supervised by Dr. Joanne Franks. I am also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). I graduated from the University of North Texas with my Masters of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling.

I have over 9 years of experience working with children and adults with a range of physical and mental disabilities, 6 of which have been in post-acute rehabilitation of acquired brain injury. As a vocational rehabilitation counselor, I am trained in the intersection of mental health and disability.

Acquired Brain Injury

I approach therapy for those with acquired brain injuries with patience and understanding. Sessions can be modified to address fatigue, noise and light sensitivities, or provide other accommodations. During our work together, you can explore the issues you are experiencing with a clinician who understands how brain injury influences those issues through collaborative and meaningful connection.
